Why isn't my gun connecting?

Please make sure the gun is is powered on before pressing the "Connect to Gun" button. This is indicated by the green light ring around the power button being active. After the gun is powered on and the button in the app is pressed, press the trigger on the gun to make sure it has connected to the correct phone.

What guns does this app work with?

It should theoretically work with any of the RECOIL laser tag guns, but has only been tested with the RK-45 pistol style guns. You can find an example of them here:

Why do I need the server software?

The server software allows for a theoretically unlimited size play arena, as well as new features being much easier to implement.
